Up to 500 homes across county were without power this Christmas Eve morning after unexpected outages.
The lights went out in homes outside Letterkenny this morning near the Ballyraine/Golf Course Road area, affecting up to 330 homes and businesses. ESB workers are currently working to repair the fault and expect supplies to be restored by 1.30pm today.
Faults lasting through the night in West Donegal have now been restored.
Elsewhere, 20 homes in Kilcar are experiencing electricity outages today. ESB estimate that supplies will be restored by 3pm.
