Britain’s Met Office has forecast that many parts of Donegal will experience snow tonight and tomorrow (Friday).

The forecaster has produced a map showing where and how much snow could hit overnight.

And they forecast that many parts of Donegal will be in for between 1 -2 cms and 10-15 cms in snow but much of this will be on hills.

The rest of the country will be in for a dusting of snow but this will turn back to rain.
