Looking for the perfect solution to keep the kids entertained next week? Bricks 4 Kidz Donegal’s new Lego camps are now taking bookings across the county.

Four-day Christmas camps are being held in Letterkenny, Ballybofey and Buncrana from Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th January, with morning and afternoon sessions available in each location. Camps are for children aged 5-12. The cost is €75 per child. For booking details, visit www.bricks4kidz.ie/donegal

Bricks 4 Kidz, which delivers educational play activities through LEGO® has just opened in County Donegal, teaching children the principles of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

The Donegal branch of the LEGO Technic project provides a fun place for children to learn, build and play over the holidays.

Children will explore the worlds of their favourite Lego characters and collaborate using unique lessons, proprietary model plans, themed learning units and motorised project kits. The activities are specially designed to trigger young children’s lively imaginations and build their self-confidence.

Their Christmas workshops and camps have been designed to teach the STEM principles in a fun and festive way to girls and boys.

Organisers said: “Our programmes have been created by engineers and architects to ignite children’s creativity and curiosity.

“Our Bricks 4 Kidz programmes provide a unique approach to educational play using LEGO® bricks, motors and remote controls. Children explore and collaborate using unique lessons, proprietary model plans, themed learning units and motorised project kits.

“Our activities are designed to trigger young children’s lively imaginations and build their self-confidence. We provide an environment where children can make new friends, of the same age and with similar interests by combining team work elements to our workshops and camps.”
