Donegal’s first born baby of 2018 is the daughter of a man who was a New Year baby 31 years ago!
Chantelle Gibson, the daughter of Raymond Gibson and Maria Boyle, was born at 1.25am on Monday, weighing 6lb 6oz.
Chantelle’s dad Raymond was born on January 1, 1987.
“It was such a lovely way for us to start the new year,” proud dad Raymond said.
Chantelle was one of two baby girls born at Letterkenny University Hospital on New Years Day.
At 2.05am, Pamela Ewing from Ballybofey gave birth to Freya, who weighed 6lb 12 oz.
