The annual Culdaff New Year’s Day swim was a great excuse for locals and visitors to start 2018 with a fresh dip in the Atlantic.

‘Fresh’ might not have been the word used by the brave participants once they hit the water yesterday afternoon! The chilly waters provided a shock for swimmers who raced in wearing costumes, swimsuits and group outfits.

The event had another great turnout to raise funds for local charities. See the photos below by Northwest Newspix:
