The Donegal Senior Ladies open their Lidl National League Division 1 campaign with a home game against reigning All-Ireland champions Dublin this weekend.

Donegal are under the charge of Maxi Curran and Damian Devaney for 2018.

Their term begins on Sunday when they welcome the Dubs to O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny. The game has a 2pm throw-in time.

Curran and Devaney have taken over from Michael Naughton.

Last year, Donegal were Ulster champions and also reached the Division 1 final, where they were pipped by Cork.

The Donegal LGFA have appealed for a big crowd to turn out to lend their support and have extended their thanks to the St Eunan’s club for providing the venue.
