Cathal Sweeney says the aim of the League for Galway is to stay in Division 1.

The Tribesmen began with a win over Tyrone on Sunday and come to Letterkenny this weekend in confident mode.

“It’s all about the results at the end of the day,” the defender – pictured above in action against Donegal – said of Sunday’s win over the Red Hands.

“It wasn’t the prettiest but we ground it out. We got a goal after 15 seconds and we held on.

“To stay in Division one you’d have to win the home games. We have a lot of things to improve on and we’ll need to be at 100 per cent in Donegal.”
