Man appeals for help finding missing wallet in Letterkenny

A man who was visiting Letterkenny last weekend is seeking help or information after losing his wallet.

Philip Marquess from Derry discovered he lost his wallet in Letterkenny Retail Park on Saturday 6th February. While his bank cards have been cancelled and there was no cash in the wallet, there are other important contents that he is hoping to get back.

The brown-coloured wallet did not have any ID inside, so Philip is appealing to people in the town to contact him with information. You can message him on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/philip.marquess or email info@donegaldaily.com

The online appeal gives all the details:

“Saturday past I lost my wallet in Letterkenny retail park. I used it in TK Maxx 1.15pm and then walked up to my car which was parked outside of Evolve. Within that walk, I dropped my wallet.

“I rang up to cancel my cards and I was told both my cards have already been cancelled and they said it isn’t uncommon for someone to find a wallet and cancel the cards. So I know someone has my wallet. There was no cash in the wallet but there are other things in the wallet that I really need to get back. Unfortunately my ID wasn’t in my wallet so the person can’t trace me.

“Thanks in advance.”
