Over 260 Donegal homes are without power this afternoon as ESB Networks continue to work to repair faults in the Frosses and Bundoran areas.

140 customers are affected in Frosses, where the power went out at 8:30am. ESB Networks hope to have mended the fault by 1:30pm.

Further south in Bundoran 127 customers have been without power since 10:30am, with an estimated restore time of 2pm.

A spokesperson for ESB Networks says: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”

A major fault took place on Arranmore island last night, with an ESB Networks crew traveling to the island to mend the issue.

A planned service interruption is currently underway in the Rathmullan area, with 85 customers without power until 4 this evening. ESB Networks are carrying out essential improvement and maintenance works in the area, and are working as quickly as possible.
