Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Saturday, February 17.

 

Kathleen RUSSELL (née McBride)
The death has occurred at the Lake House, Portnablagh of Kathleen Russell, (née McBride), Craghy Boyle, Dungloe and formerly Loughanure and Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny, predeceased by her husband William, loving mother of Liam (Gweedore), Maurice (Craghy Boyle), Kathleen McFadden (Dungloe) and Margaret Ryan (Tipperary), sadly missed by her sisters Rose Boyle (Tully) and Peg McGinty (Loughanure), by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her late residence at Craghy Boyle. Removal from there this evening, Saturday, 17th February, at 6pm going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny to repose overnight for 12 noon Funeral Mass on Sunday, 18th February, with burial afterwards in the family plot in New Leck Cemetery. Flowers welcome or donations, if desired, to the Lake House Residents Comfort Fund c/o Paschal Blake, Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny. Family time from 10pm to 10am and shuttle bus provided.

 

Carmel MCCRUDDEN
The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Carmel McCrudden, 2 St Mary’s Road, Buncrana. Loving sister of Patrick and Jackie.

Removal from Murphy’s Funeral Home, Burnfoot today Saturday 17th February at 10.00am to her residence. Funeral Monday morning 19th February leaving her home at 9.40am going to St Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment immediately afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Cockhill. Family time please from 11.00pm – 10.00am.

 

Patrick MCLAUGHLIN (PACKIE)
The Death has taken place in Beach Hill Manor Lisfannon of Patrick McLaughlin (Packie), Sharagore, Linsfort, Buncrana.

His remains will repose at McLaughlins Funeral Home from 2 until 4.15 p.m. on Saturday with removal then to Star of the Sea Church Desertegney to repose overnight. Requiem Mass there on Sunday at 10 a.m. with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Sarah MCCULLAGH
The death has occurred of Sarah McCullagh, Donegal Road, Ballyshannon, Donegal, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.

Removal to St. Patrick’s Church today, Saturday morning, for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery. House private please.
