A young Letterkenny man has been ordered to pay €150 to charity after telling Gardai to “f*** off” on a night out.
Dean Wilson appeared at Letterkenny District Court charged under the Public Order Act.
The 23-year-old, of The Forest, Ballymacool, was along with friends outside the Four Lanterns in Letterkenny on December 2nd.
When approached by Gardai he told them to “f*** off” and was arrested.
Solicitor Kieran O’Gorman said the incident was a “one-off” and that Wilson worked locally and had drink taken in the night.
