Fresh from his points win over James Gorman last month, Shaun McShane returns to the ring for a quick follow-up bout this Saturday night.

Scottish-based McShane extended his record to 6-4-1 with his triumph over Gorman in Moodiesburn.

The Lettermacaward man comes up against the 2-0 Liall Mackenzie on Saturday  night at the Hilton Hotel, Aberdeen.

37-year-old super-lightweight McShane ended six months of ring exile when he overcame Gorman in January and is keen to get back.

“I took this fight the Sunday after my last one,” McShane said.

“I want to keep busy. I’ve been sparring with Ricky Burns and Charlie Flynn. I’m looking forward to it again and hopefully getting another win.”

Firefighter Mackenzie also overcame Gorman, back in August, while he defeated journeyman William Warburton – who has a 24-125-9 – in November.
