A mega € 7,179,959 Lotto jackpot has been won by an online player on Wednesday, 21st February.
National Lottery officials have made a nationwide appeal to ask players to check their tickets and see if they have won this incredible amount.
With the ticket being bought online, the winner could be anywhere in the country. Donegal has had a great share of luck this year already, with one lucky local winning €4.4m from a Quick Pick ticket bought in Daly’s Topaz Lifford in January.
