Mulroy Woods Hotel in Milford are delighted to be investing further in the hotel as they go into their 4th successful year.

The Kelly family are redesigning and resurfacing the carpark to add to the aesthetics of the already well-appointed building which has been a staple in the local community for years.

Marty and Patricia Kelly have said “we are determined to ensure that we are offering a premium product to our customers and guests, this includes a comfortable and warm welcome from the minute you drive through our gates to the newly refurbished interiors.

“We have invested €1.9m in the hotel to date with refurbishments to all existing bedrooms, lounge/bar, restaurant, Mulroy suite and the addition of 12 new superior bedrooms. We are happy to have made Milford our hub, we love being a part of the community and being situated on the Wild Atlantic Way with so many beautiful attractions on our door step.”

Patricia added: “The hotel has grown, with the demand for business with weddings, bar food, Sunday carvery, parties and bus tours we are very excited for hectic season ahead. Entering our busiest wedding season to date, we are already receiving many awards in recognition of our wedding experience including,

  • Irish Hotel Awards Wedding Venue of Ulster 2017,
  • Irish Hotel Awards Wedding Co-ordinator of Ulster 2017,
  • Irish Hotel Awards Deputy General Manager 2017,
  • Oceanic Irish Wedding Awards Borders Wedding Venue 2018,
  • Lucinda O’Sullivan Great Places to Eat & Stay 2017 & again in 2018.

“We are delighted to have built an award winning, dedicated, hardworking and enthusiastic team who have been tireless in their dedication to help us bring the business to where it is today.”
