Declan Bonner says Donegal are heading to Omagh on Saturday with the minds positive.
Donegal face Tyrone in a crunch Allianz League Division One four-pointer.
Since beating Kildare in Ballyshannon, Donegal have seen Peter Boyle and Michael Carroll leave their ranks.
That win over the Lilywhites was Donegal’s first success in the League this year, coming after narrow losses to Kerry, Galway and Dublin.
“The mindset is very positive,” Bonner said.
“The attitude has been top class and the effort isn’t in question. We’re in transition, definitely, but we wanted to set our stall out as best we could.
“It’s a work in progress and there have been a lot of positive signs.
“There are no short-cuts. We’re building a new panel there.”
