Listen: Ollie Horgan says Finn Harps ‘didn’t deserve to win’

Ollie Horgan admitted that his Finn Harps didn’t deserve anything more than a point tonight against Shelbourne.

David O’Sullivan’s equaliser cancelled out an opener from debutant Michael O’Connor on a night when Harps had to make do with a stalemate.

“At least we’re up and running,” Horgan said after his side were a crossbar’s width from nicking a win with sub John O’Flynn denied late in the night.

“Probably not the result we wanted at home, but it’s as much as we deserved. We didn’t deserve to win it.

“You can’t say we deserved it. We had a great chance late on with the flick onto the crossbar. At the same time, they had three chances into the same goals in the first half.”
