Buncrana St Patrick’s Day parade has a new start time – don’t miss it!

St Patrick’s Day in Buncrana festivities have had a last-minute shake-up as this year’s parade has been changed to start at 2pm. 

The big event will roll through the town centre an hour earlier this year, with lots of fun displays, music and dancing in store for spectators.

The 2pm parade will have fancy dress, vintage cars, machinery, walkers, school groups, scouts and much more. Participants are asked to assemble at Scoil Mhuire grounds from 1.30pm, with bigger floats meeting at The Shore Front from 1.30pm. There will be prizes in all categories.

All are welcome to come out and support the local parade – and then enjoy the rugby!

The St. Patrick’s celebrations are a three-day event in Buncrana this year. A night of song and dance will take place in The Plaza on Friday, March 16th. On Sunday, March 18th, there will be a Stars in their Eyes show at the Plaza in memory of Eddie Murphy, with proceeds being donated to the Irish Cancer Society. See details in the poster below:
