Joe Dunleavy keeps his place as Ireland U20s get ready for England clash

Letterkenny’s Joe Dunleavy has retained his berth in the Ireland Under-20 team for Friday’s Under-20 Six Nations clash against England at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Dunleavy – who made his way through at Letterkenny Rugby Club and who now lines out for Malone and Ulster – made his debut last week in a bonus point win over Scotland.

Ireland coach Noel McNamara has made four changes to the team, but Dunleavy keeps his place at blindside flanker.

After confirming his final matchday squad of the tournament, McNamara said: “It was good to come away with the bonus point win last Friday in Donnybrook, and while there are areas of our game we can improve on, the result has left us in a good place ahead of Friday’s fixture.

The Ireland Under-20s’ final round showdown with England will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Action, with coverage beginning at 7.45pm.
