A man admitted to Letterkenny University Hospital was found with a bag of cocaine on him.
Sean White, of Drenan, Ballybofey appeared at Letterkenny District Court.
The court was told that WHite was found with the cocaine in the Emergency Department of the Hospital on February 27th, 2017.
Garda Inspector Barry Doyle told the court that White had one previous conviction for possessing drugs.
The value of the cocaine found on White in the hospital was between €20 and €30.
Judge Paul Kelly found White guilty and fined him €200.
