Two students from Abbey Vocational School, Donegal Town, are bringing a massive splash of colour to the Texaco Children’s Art Competition!

14-year-old Emma Thomas’ flair for art is showcased in her entry ‘Fly Away My Little Butterfly’, with 14-year-old Olivia Szelag’s piece, ‘Beyond the Distance’, serving as kaleidoscopic evidence of her remarkable talent.

Adjudicator Denise Ferran will have a very tough time picking the winners for the national art competition as over 400 excellent entries have been received from across the country.

The winners will be revealed in mid-April with a special prize-giving ceremony taking place in Dublin in May.
