The annual SOS (Stroll on Sunday) 5k walks and runs will take place across the county today.

Walks will take place in Dunfanaghy, Rathmullan, and Downings.

The Dunfanaghy walk takes place at 3pm, with registration at 2:45pm at Arnold’s Hotel.

The Rathmullan walk kicks off from The White Harte Bar at 3pm, with registration at 2:45pm.

The walk at Downings will take place a little earlier with the 5k beginning at 2pm, with registration at 1:45pm at The Harbour Bar.

Please note that the walk from the Lifeboat Station in Buncrana will take place in May.

These walks are not arduous and suitable for any age and fitness level, so get out and get some fresh air while supporting a good cause!

Refreshments will be served afterwards and all donations on the day are in aid of the Lifeboats.

For more information contact Moses Alcorn (Dunfanaghy, 086 8832129), Patricia McAteer (Rathmullan, 087 2314332), and Heather McBride (Downings, 087 2477595).
