Maxi Curran believes the experience of playing in front of a huge crowd – and winning in that arena – will stand to the Donegal ladies.
“It was nice to put on a display and play well,” Curran said.
“They all played really well and that’s what you want on a day like this.
“It was part of our thinking to have the game here with a big crowd.
“There were 46,000 at the All-Ireland final last year so that would be a new experience if we were lucky enough to get there. It was to heighten their experience of playing in front of a big crowd.”
