Watch: See the highlights from Donegal’s dramatic draw with Mayo

Donegal’s hopes of staying in Division 1 were dashed at the beginning and the end of a heart-stopping game in Ballybofey.

Donegal hit back well after Mayo started flying, racing 0-5 to 0-1 ahead, and with six minutes left Declan Bonner’s men led 0-13 to 0-10.

There were some real bright points for Donegal, not least some of Patrick McBrearty’s score taking.

It seemed then that Donegal were destined to stay up, but three points in the closing minutes, the last of them by Kevin McLoughlin, ensured that it’s Mayo who survive and Donegal drop.

Mayo and Donegal finish on a draw, leaving Mayo retaining their position in Div1 next year while Donegal will be relegated to DIV2, Watch the Full-Time highlights here on GAANOW! pic.twitter.com/KGxCZdiWWC
