Vacancy: Stone Splitter sought for McMonagle Stone, Ireland’s leading Natural Stone Manufacturer & Supplier.
A Stone Splitter position has recently become available at McMonagle Stone’s Head Office in Mountcharles, Co.Donegal.
With an immediate start, the successful applicant will be responsible for splitting stone according to work order specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive direction and work orders from Supervisor
Verify that tools and equipment are in proper working condition
Perform routine maintenance
Position stone on conveyer to obtain proper cuts
Perform stone splitting process according to work order specifications
Complete necessary paperwork
Keep work area clean and orderly
Follow all safety regulations
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Dependable
Ability to work independently
Ability to lift up to 20kgs, frequently; 50kgs
Detail oriented
Ability to adapt to varying work environment
Able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work in a team environment
Self-motivated
Ability to read and use a tape measure
