Kilcar continue their winning ways against Aodh Ruadh

REIGNING DIVISION 1 won for the third time on the bounce in the All-County League Division 1 today – with Aodh Ruadh their latest victims.

Kilcar 1-20 Aodh Ruadh 1-6

Barry Doherty’s team maintained their 100 per cent record with Patrick McBrearty scoring five points in all and the impressive Brian O’Donnell helping himself to 1-2.

At half-time the home team were five points to the good, leading 0-8 to 0-3 and they would run riot in the second half.

With 10 minutes to go, Kilcar were 0-18 to 0-5 in front. Aodh Ruadh, though, did get something go a consolation with Darren Drummond netted. However, Kilcar reaffirmed their dominance soon afterwards thanks to O’Donnell’s goal.
