Majella O’Donnell has admitted that she is “nervous” about her debut television presenting gig on TV3 tonight.
But Majella said she has no plans to give up her ‘home’ time and become a full-time presenter.
The wife of crooner Daniel O’Donnell will take the hot seat on The Six O’Clock Show this week alongside Ray Foley.
The pair are standing in for regular presenters Martin King and Muireann O’Connell.
However, the down-to-earth star insists she won’t stress.
Majella explained: “I am nervous, but I never worry about these things.
“I’ll give it my best shot, if it’s terrible, it’s terrible.”
The 57-year-old is already a familiar face on television thanks to her hit show with her hubby Daniel And Majella’s B&B Road Trip — with a new series airing next month.
But the gran-of-two claims she has no big ambitions for a presenting career, adding: “I’m very keen to keep my time free.
“I like to do my own thing at home.”
