Rachael Darragh’s superb start to the 2018 Commonwealth Games continued as the Raphoe woman was victorious in her round of 32 game in the women’s doubles.

Hot on the heels over her win over Cameroon’s Stella Ngadjui in the women’s singles last 64, Darragh teamed up with Sinead Chambers for the women’s doubles.

Darragh and Chambers dispatched Elise Dixon and Emily Redshaw 21-9 21-10 to book a place in the last 16 and they will return to action on Thursday.

Tomorrow, Darragh will face Soniia Cheah in the last 32 of the women’s singles at the Carrara Sports Arena.
