Prayers are being said for a young Kilmacrennan man who is fighting for his life after a fall in Dublin.

James Maguire suffered a serious head injury following the accident and is being cared for at Beaumont Hospital.

James’s family were keeping a vigil by his bedside last night.

His mum and dad, Kenny and Kate Maguire, are well-known in the area.

Prayers were said in Kilmacrennan for James by Fr Paddy Dunne who is a relative of the family.

People across Donegal are being asked to keep James in their prayers.
