Irish citizens are being reminded to make sure they are registered to vote ahead of the upcoming Referendum on the Eighth Amendment.

The Government has confirmed the date of the referendum will be on May 25th. The deadline for registration for inclusion in the supplement to the Voting Register is the 8th of May, and it is earlier for Special Voters.

Check if you are already registered by clicking here.

If you are not registered, but would like to be able to vote in the referendum on Repealing the Eighth Amendment on the 25th of May, print out the form here. If you have changed your address, print out the form here. You will need to go to your local Garda station to have your application signed.

The deadline for registration to the Special Voters list or the Postal Voters list is the 28th of April (click here for information on these categories).

For registration all local constituencies, go here.
