Shay’s still saving! Former Ireland star Given checks in on AIB at LYIT

There was a great air of excitement around the AIB branch at Letterkenny Institute of Technology this morning as former Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given called in.

Shay, who will be awarded the Donegal Person of the Year award on Saturday night in Dublin, popped in on his old friend Sandra McGettigan, the AIB campus manager.

AIB opened its new state-of-the-art branch to students and staff of LYIT and Co-Lab last September. The branch continues to go from strength-to-strength.

The branch is a sales and advisory office only and there is no cash lodging facility on site, though there is a dispensing ATM.

The branch opening hours are Monday-Thursday from 10am-4pm; Friday 10am-12.30pm.

The self service lobby comprising two kiosks and telephone is open 9am-9pm, Monday-Friday.

Out of term hours are Wednesdays only from 10am-12.30pm.
