Castlefin Celtic moved joint top of the Donegal League Premier Division alongside Kildrum Tigers after powering to an away win over Glenea at Pairc Joe.

In wintry evening conditions a much changed Glenea completed their home programme.

With the aid of the strong wind Castlefin started the better and took the lead on 15 minutes with a Ronan Tourish shot from the edge of the box.

Castlefin extended their lead on 40 when Raymond Foy’s free-kick took a massive deflection and ended up in the net.

In the second the home side pushed hard to get back into the game but were unable to convert a number of half chances.

Castlefin extended their lead on 70 minutes when Foy took advantage of a mix up in the home defence to slot home.

Castlefin completed the scoring on 85 minutes when Foy scored from a free-kick.
