Martin Harley continues solid year with latest pair of winners

Martin Harley saddled another two winners in recent days, continuing the Trentagh man’s solid 2018.

Harley now has 33 wins in the calendar year – a 22 per cent win record – after wins at Yarmouth and Chelmsford.

On Tuesday, Harley won aboard Rae Guest’s 11/4 Salt Whistle Bay in the Global Stallions Handicap at Yarmouth, beating the 7/4 favourite Ripp Orf by a length.

Yesterday, Harley took victory by half-a-length on Main Street, a 2/1 shot trained by John Gosden, edging out Temur Khan over the final furlong.

Harley also had two second-placed finishes in Chelmsford and is back in action tomorrow at both Newmarket and Doncaster.
