Restaurant Sage in Letterkenny has reaffirmed itself as a food lovers’ destination after a great relaunch party on Friday night

The popular restaurant on the Port Road hosted a sparkling celebration last night to mark a new era with many friends, family and guests.

Restaurant Sage has recently come under new management, with Chef Desmond Coll at the helm and an enthusiastic team serving top-quality Donegal food seven days a week.

Friday night’s party saw the launch of the new menu at Sage, which is packed with flavoursome local ingredients, perfectly complementary dishes and delightful presentation.

Along with the much-loved quality meat and seafood dishes, some welcome changes to the menu are the extra healthy, vegetarian and vegan options for diners. The complete wine list and varied gin and local beer menus are also popular picks for guests.

The Sage staff team had a warm welcome for everyone last night. With Champagne and canapés on arrival, diners raised a toast to the new team and to the Bank Holiday weekend before browsing the mouth-watering new menu.

Superior Donegal ingredients are plentiful on the a la carte menu, with fresh seafood also a popular choice, before the decadent dessert options brought the great meals to a close. Sage pride themselves on using the finest fresh and local ingredients in the county, which was clearly enjoyed by all.
