First Holy Communion
The following received their First Holy Communion in St. Michael’s Church, Creeslough last Saturday May 5th:

The Mass was Celebrated by Fr. John Joe Duffy. Concelebrants were Fr. Pat McGarvey and Fr. Seamus Murphy.

Daisy Moore’s Memorial Tractor and Vintage Car Run
Daisy Moore’s Memorial Tractor Run in aid of the Creeslough Day Centre and the Friends of Letterkenny General Hospital will be held on Saturday the 30th June. It kicks of at 12 Noon from the Chapel Car Park in Creeslough. There will be spot prizes on the day with registration from 10am in the Creeslough Day Centre.
There will be refreshments served on arrival and afterwards in the Creeslough Day Centre. More information can be obtained from 0871238600/0871726589.
North West Tractor Fest
The North West Tractor Fest 2018 will be held on Sunday 20th May at the Grounds of Milford Mart.
There will be music on site all day, Stalls and Farm Machinery. All proceeds are in aid of Donegal Branch MS Society and Parents and Friends of Abbey Village. For more information contact 0862441350 or 0868859887. Tractors of all ages and models welcome.

St Michael’s Minor Board would like to thank all those who contributed to the success of the bed push last Bank Holiday Monday, May 7th and made it the success that it was. Those who provided the bed and got it ready, the bed pushers , collectors , everyone who donated and gave donations and thanks also to the public for their patience . The sun shone Boyce’s Centra supplied ice creams. Thank you to all.
St. Michael’s Bingo Session
The €100 on the Blue Sheet Game at the Bingo Session in Creeslough on Sunday night last was won by Mick McGettigan Carrigarts. The €75 was won by Ann Lafferty Creeslough. The Bingo in Creeslough now runs as follows: There are 10 games in the book and then the sheet game.
The €1,000 on the sheet game is now on 48nos or less.
Single Book including sheet €10 Double Book and Double Sheet €16.
Please come out and support your local Bingo.
Thanks to everyone for their generous support over the past four weeks; your generosity means that a new Defibrillator can now be purchased for Creeslough Town which will be a huge benefit to the entire community. Please note that the proceeds from the Bingo Session in Creeslough for the next four weeks will go towards purchasing mannequins so that the First Responders can train more people in the use of the Defibrillator.
St. Michael’s Mini Lotto
There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 2,5,8,10,12,18; the Match 5 Winner was Moses Alcorn Hornhead. This weeks Jackpot will also be €6100.

Creeslough Women’s Group
The Crafty Group continues every Monday from 11am to 1pm, so come along and enjoy learning a new skill, bring what you like and enjoy a cup of tae.

Please note on Friday the 8th June at 7.30pm Mass will be Celebrated in St. Michael’s Church in Creeslough by Rev. John Sherrington Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster to celebrate the Golden Anniversary of the Ordination to the Priesthood of Fr. Seamus Murphy. All are welcome to attend.
Alison Quigley Irish Dance School

Youth Club
Creeslough Youth Club is now open to children in 4th, 5th and 6th classes every Wednesday evening from 6.00 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. in Massinass Hall. New members welcome – €10 Registration. €2 per night.
Two Hand Dancing
Two hand Dancing in Massinass Centre Creeslough every Tuesday from 8pm to 10pm. Its good fun and good exercise and beginners are very welcome.
Set Dancing Classes
Set Dancing Classes in Aras Begley Falcarragh, beginning Wednesday 11th October from 8pm – 10pm. All beginners welcome.
Shop and Coffee Dock
For the winter the Shop and Coffee Dock in Ards Friary will be open only at weekends – Saturday from 12.00 noon and Sunday from 1.00 p.m.
Speech and Drama
The Mc Grath School of Speech and Drama suitable for boys and girls aged 4 – 18 will be commencing soon in Creeslough on Monday evenings. The classes focus on all aspects of Speech and Drama Studies – reciting poetry, reading skills, mime, acting, storytelling, public speaking, movement to music and drama games. Volunteer Service
The Irish Cancer Society operates a free Volunteer Driver Service that is available to patients attending the following Hospitals for chemotherapy treatment : Letterkenny University Hospital, Mayo General Hospital and Sligo Hospital. Volunteer drivers will pick up a patient at the door of their home, drop them at the Hospital door and then, when finished treatment, pick them up and drop them home again. All volunteers expenses are paid. The Rosary Group recites the Rosary every Monday evening at 7.10 p.m. in St. Michaels’ Church. All are welcome.
Creeslough Community Alert
A Text Alert Scheme is operational in the area. This is a means of immediate communication from An Garda Siochana to the public. This is a free service and if you would like to be included in the scheme, please ring Patrick on 086 1083488.
Clothes Bank
A clothes bank is now situated on High St, Creeslough ie around the corner from McNultys Bar in aid of St. Michael’s Minor Board. If anyone is clearing out presses etc. all donations of clothes, shoes, bags, curtains etc would be much appreciated.
Pilates Classes
Michelle Given Health and Fitness has Pilates classes in Massinass Old School each Wednesday at the following times: 10.30am(beginners and improves);3.20pm(beginners and improvers);7.45pm ( beginners and improvers) and 9pm(advanced ). Volunteer Driver Service
The Irish Cancer Society’s Volunteer Driver Service is a free transport service available to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment in Letterkenny University Hospital. We also deliver a free transport service to Galway University Hospital for patients attending for radiotherapy and staying for the full week in the Lodge. Transport available to the Lodge on Monday and from the Lodge on Friday. To avail of this service please talk to your healthcare professional on call Gail in the Irish Cancer Society on 91 2310566.

Clothing Bank
A Clothing Bank is located just inside the gate of the Dunfanaghy Youths Soccer Pitch at Kill. All donations of clothes, shoes, bags, belts, coats etc would be very much appreciated as a fundraiser for the club.
