Donegal moved into an Ulster SFC quarter-final clash with Derry after defeating Cavan in Ballybofey yesterday.

Donegal had eight points to spare after a high-scoring 2-20 to 1-15 win.

Cavan started well and by the 16th minute were in a decent position, 1-3 to 0-4 up thanks to a well-taken goal from Caoimhin O’Reilly.

But Ryan McHugh, with another palmed effort, and Cian Mulligan netted as Donegal took charge.
