Lurgybrack Open Farm outside Letterkenny is preparing for a busy season of fun group outings this summer.

Don’t leave it too late to book your date for a school and group visit the popular educational attraction. Lurgybrack Open Farm is a top destination for school tours, as it offers fantastic teaching facilities and learning experiences for children.

Schools and groups are being advised to book now to avoid disappointment before the end of term on 0749122683 or 0868212012.

There is plenty to see, touch and do at the park that is conveniently situated for schools, not only in and around Letterkenny and Donegal, but across the North of Ireland.

At Lurgybrack Open Farm, children enjoy familiarising themselves with the animals, learning their names, the food they eat and the noises they make. Children also learn about the environment, food, farming and conservation.

Lurgybrack Open Farm recently underwent a big upgrade to add to the quality experience.

The family park has installed two huge indoor bouncy castles for all-weather fun. Kids will love the farm themed adventure arena, with the added bonus of the centre being weather proof.

Plus, the tearoom at Lurgybrack Open Farm has had a wonderful upgrade to make resting and refreshments even more enjoyable for the family.

With lots to do and fantastic value for money, the farm is a brilliant day out for all ages. The centuries old farm building is home to a range of friendly farm animals that children can come face to face with.

There is a large play area for kids and visitors can take a run on a tractor, enjoy the bouncy castles, zip wire, sand pit, waterslide, jumping pillow, bouncy castles or take a leisurely stroll around the dusty trail walk.

There is ample space to play safely, wander by the riverside, or just sit back and unwind with a tasty snack from the tearoom or have your own family picnic.
