Donegal Under-15 girls will play Down in the Ulster Development League Final in Drumragh Sarsfield GAC, Omagh at 2pm on Sunday.

Donegal who finished top of the league with 6 wins out of 6, face a tough game against a very good Down team who finished second in the League.

Manager Seamus McLaughlin (Na Dunaibh) is delighted with the progress of the girls with some excellent football being played throughout the campaign.

There are 13 new players in the squad this year and there are players from 19 different clubs across the county.

All 30 members of the squad have had a major contribution in games this season and hope to continue their good form on Sunday.

Seamus was able to retain most of his backroom team of 2017’s Under-14 campaign in Patrick McMonagle (Glenswilly), Catriona McIntyre (St Eunans) and Catherine Deely (St Nauls), unfortunately Susanne Gallagher (Na Dunaibh)  could not commit this year but Seamus was able to add John Coyle and Charlie Coyle (both Na Dunaibh).

Adding a specialist Goalkeeping coach in John Coyle has been a huge plus for the team.

The Panel for Sunday is: Abbie Barrett (Bundoran), Aibhe McDaid (Termon), Aisling McCormack (Milford), Alisha Tobin (St Eunans), Amy McLaughlin (Na Dunaibh), Annie McClintock (St Eunans), Aobha Gallagher (Na Dunaibh), Caoilfhinn Deely (St Nauls), Caoimhe Brennan (Ardara), Caoimhe Cunningham (Killybegs), Caoimhe Mc Glynn (Glenfin), Catherine Campbell (St Nauls), Charlie Shevlin (Na Dunaibh), Ciara McGarvey (Termon), Ciara Ni Lochlainn (Gaoth Dobhair), Eilish Gallagher (Aodh Ruadh), Eimear O Donnell (Carndonagh), Katelyn Doherty (Buncrana), Katelyn Gorrell (Killybegs), Kendra Wilson (Convoy), Lara Faul (Glenswilly), Lauren Russell (Termon), Marcella Dolan (St. Michaels), Michaela McMonagle (Glenswilly), Nadine Gallagher (Na Dunaibh), Orla Corry (Termon), Orla McElchar (Red Hughs), Sarah Jane Keon (Aodh Ruadh), Shauna Higgins  (St Eunans) & Sinead McIntyre (Captain) (St Eunans)
