A Buncrana family have expressed their gratitude for the wonderful treatment their loved one received in the care of Letterkenny University Hospital.

The widow, children & grandchildren of the late Mr Pat McLaughlin (Miller), Linsfort, presented a cheque for €5,150 to the Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital.

The cheque was in appreciation of the care and treatment he received in hospital last year.

Mr McLaughlin, a hugely loved and respected member of the community, passed away in the Donegal Hospice after a long illness.

The money was raised following some unsolicited donations plus a coffee morning.

The Friends of LUH wish to extend their utmost appreciation for the generous donation.

Mr Peter Cutliffe, Chairman of the Friends is pictured receiving the cheque from Mrs McLaughlin as well as Ms Donna Henderson, Ms Ann McGowan & Mr Paddy Rooney.
