Major acts announced and more on way for Buncrana Music Festival

The revival of the Buncrana Music Festival continues this year in what is undoubtedly going to be the biggest year for tourism in Inishowen.

And with some of the coolest names in the music business lined up, it promises to be a scorcher.

The dates have been announced in advance of what promises to be a spectacular festival on Friday 29th and 30th June 2018, one week ahead of the Irish Open.

The festival, organised by local events company, Notorious Events, has announced the first of the acts for Friday and Saturday night.

And it will be special, with dance music legends Ministry of Sound taking Buncrana’s Shore Greens by storm on Friday 29th June, with special guest DJs also to be announced, and on Saturday, rock legends Feeder, with 21 UK top 40 hits under their belt, will rock the main stage on the Shore Green, again with many more bands to be announced in the coming days.

The major event will finish off with a huge firework display on Buncrana’s Shore Front.

This year’s festival promises all the fun from previous years, but on a much grander scale, with family-friendly activities by day, and top music acts performing live on the main stage.

Accommodation availability is likely to be at a premium, so the organisers are advising anyone intending on travelling to make their bookings now.

Tickets go on sale from €30 on Friday 25th May, and will be available locally, as well as via Ticketmaster.ie, and a range of options are available, including weekend passes and VIP tickets.

For further information on the festival, you can keep up to date with the festival facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/buncranafestival or online at www.buncranamusicfestival.com.
