Belts awarded at Letterkenny Shotokan Karate Club

The Letterkenny Shotokan Karate Clu held a Kyu Grading on Saturday the 9th of June, in the Aura Leisure Centre. 

Students from White Belt to Brown Belt took part in a test to obtain their next belt.

The following students were successful and were awarded their next belt.

9th Kyu – Orange belt: Kyle Vicente and Arnav Sajth.

8th Kyu – Red Belt: Catherine Deeney, Igor Szymanowicz, Megha Manoj Thampi, Dev Nandan Privesh and Aoibhinn Keys.

7th Kyu – Yellow Belt: Finn Boyle, Georgia Martin, Neil Augustine, Evan Ward, Anika Benny, Rishonn Sojan, and Powell Jason.

4th Kyu – Purple White Belt: Oran Mulligan and Hannah Patterson.

3rd Kyu – Brown Belt: Manoj Radhakrishnan.

1st Kyu – Brown Double White: Alana Patterson and Cormac Quinn

Congratulations to all students who have trained hard in the run up to the grading and displayed great Kihon, Kata and Kumite skills to obtain their next belt.
