Some very appetising plans have been revealed today with the Programme launch for the 10th anniversary of A Taste of Donegal Food Festival.

A record number of food lovers, visitors and locals are expected to descend on Donegal Town from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th August 2018 for the popular foodie event. This year it will be even bigger as the community celebrates 10 years of the North West’s biggest food and drink extravaganza.

Every year, food lovers from all over the world are drawn to the beautiful tented village on the Pier in Donegal Town with the backdrop of the Blue Stack Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.

Ireland and Donegal’s best Celebrity Chefs, eclectic exhibitors,  competitions, music, fireworks and entertainment are all on the menu for the 2018 festival. Click on the programme images in the Gallery below to zoom in and begin planning your visit early.

This year’s Festival once again gathers together Top Restaurants, Hotels, Food and Drink Providers. With 130 renowned exhibitors being showcased; you can meander, browse, meet the producers, smell, taste and purchase some of the finest food and drink available from all over the country where visitors can sample products which are new and unfamiliar to them.  The showstopper each year and what the event has become recognized for is the Cookery Demonstrations by high profile Celebrity Chefs.

Alongside all the Celebrity Chefs like Neven Maguire, Kevin Dundon, Gary O’ Hanlon, Stephen Mc Allister, Edward Hayden and others including Exhibitors. A Taste of Donegal Food Festival provides a full entertainment programme throughout the weekend, with Fireworks over Donegal Bay, Live music, Interactive Street Theatre, Family Fun and Mime!
