An Bord Pleanala has granted permission for a wind farm at Lough Mourne and Barnesmore.
Notice of the application was printed on the agency’s website today.
It follows a vigorous campaign objecting to the wind farm by parts of the local community.
The farm is to be built by Planree Ltd with a capital investment in up to 36 wind turbines of anything up to €150 million.
The developers say the proposal has the potential to generate electricity for 29,000 households.
The local Finn Valley Wind Action group had strongly opposed the plans.
