Donegal County Council has asked the public to contact them via online methods today due to technical problems on their phone line this Friday morning.
A spokesperson said: “We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our main telephone line 074 91 53900 and we are working to try and remedy this situation as we speak.
“Members of the public can access Council services by emailing info@donegalcoco.ie and online at www.donegalcoco.ie. You can also contact us via Facebook @donegalcoco and Twitter @donegalcouncil.
“We apologise for the inconvenience this is causing and hope to resume normal telephone service as soon as possible.”
