Shay delivers Donegal Association’s wonderful gift to Lifford Hospital

He may have retired from competitive football but Shay Given still have that winning formula.

The former Republic of Ireland goalkeeper was at Lifford Hospital this week to present a cheque for €4,490 to staff.

Along with members of the Donegal Association, Shay, the current Donegal Person of the Year Shay Given presneted the cheque which was the proceeds of the raffle from the Gala Ball.

A spokesperson for the Donegal Association in Dublin said “We are very appreciative to all who contributed to the raffle on the night and it gave us great pleasure in presenting the cheque today to this very worthy cause.”

Shay Given and High Harkin present the cheque to Mary Clarke in Lifford Hospital.

Committee Members and Shay at the presentation, also included is Shay’s father Seamus and staff from Lifford Hospital
