The organisers of Letterkenny Park Run have decided to approach various workforce sectors in the town and invite them to take part in Park Run on a specific date.
Organisers say the first group they are approaching is the Banking Sector and the date allocated is Saturday next the 14th July.
Hopefully, the selected workforce may then join in with the regular park runners. It is the organiser’s intention to invite a different group of workers each month.
“While we use the word park run the event is open to walkers, joggers and runners. It is held at St. Conal’s Complex, Kilmacrennan Road at 9.30am each and every Saturday. It is a free to enter event and parking is free at St. Conal’s until 11am for participants,” said a spokesman.
Please register for park run online at Letterkenny park run (Free to register also) and you will be given an individual barcode which you bring with you to the event. You only register once and you can take part in park run for free anywhere in the world a park run event is set up and your individual barcode will be recognised.
