Finn Harps recorded their best win of the season last night as Ollie Horgan’s men overcame Longford 3-0 at Finn Park.

The win, Harps’ third on the trot, sees them move into third, with Drogheda ahead of them in second only on goal difference.

It was a third clean sheet for goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher on a night when Nathan Boyle, Mikey Place and debutant Timmie Sobowale netted the goals.

Just after the hour, Ciaran Coll was taken down in the area by Darren Meenan and Place tucked in from the penalty spot …
