The people of Glencar Letterkenny will be keeping their eyes open for a big spender this week to find out which shopper has scooped half a million euro from a National Lottery scratch card.

A Donegal man has today claimed his €500,000 winnings after scratching to win the top prize from a National Lottery All Cash Extravaganza scratch card.

While the winner is remaining anonymous, the staff of the shop where the winning card was bought are full of jubilation.

Spar Glencar store owner Antoinette Dorrian, shop manager Kieran Devanney and all the team have spent the morning proudly celebrating the sale of the winning card.

Meanwhile, a Donegal man somewhere is having a very good start to the week with a big cash boost of €500,000 – that will surely brighten up a Monday morning!
