Fancy going to Timmy’s birthday party?

Donegal Donkey Sanctuary are hosting a ‘tea party’ on Sunday July 22nd from 12pm until 5pm to celebrate the 2nd birthday of ‘miracle’ donkey Timmy.

Timmy’s ‘journey’ captured the attention of people worldwide as they tracked his recovery on social media.

He was born with severe weakness in his back legs as a result of a sustained beating that his pregnant mum had received in the months before he was born.

This horrific act of cruelty made it impossible for Timmy to walk normally and survival seemed impossible.

With lots of care and attention and some unique ‘foal shoes’ Timmy won his battle and is now a healthy adult donkey.

Admission is by donation on the day. Tea/coffee and home bakes will be served. Timmy’s ‘birthday cake’ will be cut at 3pm!

So come along on the day and meet this little hero and all his other friends at Donegal Donkey Sanctuary.

If you are unable to attend maybe you could make a donation towards his ongoing care on the above ‘gofundme’ link.
