Horgan: “People in our dressing room aren’t worried about spectacles”

Ollie Horgan says Finn Harps aren’t too worried about entertainment value – so long as his team keep collecting points.

Harps extended their unbeaten run to four and kept a fourth clean sheet in a row in last night’s 0-0 draw with Shelbourne at Finn Park.

Both sides had just one clear-cut chance over the 90 minutes in a real game of inches.

“It was a poor spectacle, but people in our dressing room aren’t worried about spectacles – they’re trying to get points on the board,” Horgan said.

“It wasn’t a great game. Both defences were on top. We started poorly and it looked like ‘here we go again’.

“We got some sort of hold in it and the second half was scrappy. It was a game of very few chances, but we’ve kept another clean sheet, which is a positive.”
