The people of Fanad Head are getting ready to welcome some entertaining invaders when the Up Helly Aa Festival comes to town!

All are welcome to join in a celebration of Scottish Viking heritage at Fanad Lighthouse this Saturday evening when the Jarl (chief Viking) and his guizers will sing their “Up Helly Aa” song and more, in full Viking dress, followed by a torchlight procession from the Lighthouse to the Tavern.

This event on Saturday 28th July at 6:00pm is one of the exciting pre-festival celebrations before Fanad Festival 2018.

Fáilte romhaibh uilig!
